What to expect on monitoring days

Bloodwork, ultrasound, results in the portal by the same evening, and a phone call from your nurse if anything changes.

On a monitoring day you will arrive between 7:00a and 9:00a for bloodwork and a transvaginal ultrasound. The visit takes 20–30 minutes. You can usually go directly to work afterwards.

Results are posted in your patient portal by the same evening, with a short interpretation written by your nurse. If we are changing anything — your dose, your timing, when to trigger — your nurse will also call you. We do not leave that kind of update to a portal message alone.

Most cycles involve four to six monitoring visits over ten to fourteen days. We schedule them around your work where we can, but the cycle does not always cooperate.
