Embryology Director
Dr. Elena Sokolova, PhD
Elena has run IVF labs in three countries and brings 18 years of bench experience to BFC's embryology programme. She joined the practice in 2021 to design the on-site lab and has personally trained every embryologist on the team.
She is a co-author on a long-cited paper on time-lapse imaging in embryo selection and serves on the technical advisory board for two embryology-software companies. The lab is CAP-accredited and runs to a stricter internal QC standard than the federal minimum.
